By accessing or using PageDrop ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service. PageDrop is operated by pagedrop.io ("us", "we", or "our").

2. Description of Service

PageDrop is a web service that allows users to upload or paste HTML content and receive shareable links to view that content as rendered web pages. The service is particularly designed for sharing AI-generated HTML content from ChatGPT, Claude, and other Large Language Models (LLMs).

• Upload HTML files up to 16MB
• Paste HTML code directly
• Custom URL paths
• Password protection
• Configurable expiration (1 hour to 30 days)
• One-time read functionality

3. Prohibited Content and Uses

You may NOT upload or share content that:

• Contains malicious code, viruses, or malware
• Attempts phishing, credential harvesting, or social engineering
• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Distributes pirated software, games, media, or other copyrighted content
• Contains adult, pornographic, or sexually explicit material
• Promotes hate speech, discrimination, or violence
• Violates any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempts to deceive, mislead, or defraud users
• Contains spam or unsolicited advertising
• Impersonates any person or entity
• Violates the privacy of others

We employ automated content screening and reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms without notice.

4. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

The content you upload or share through our Service
Ensuring you have the right to share any content you upload
Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
Respecting the intellectual property rights of others
Maintaining the security of password-protected content
Understanding that we cannot recover lost passwords

Important: We do not provide password recovery services. If you forget a password for password-protected content, the content cannot be recovered.

5. Content Storage and Expiration

All content uploaded to PageDrop is temporary and subject to automatic deletion based on the Time-To-Live (TTL) settings you choose:

1 hour: Content deleted after 1 hour
1 day: Content deleted after 24 hours
7 days: Content deleted after 7 days
30 days: Content deleted after 30 days
One-time read: Content deleted immediately after first access

We do not guarantee content availability for the full TTL period. Content may be removed earlier for violations of these terms, technical issues, or service maintenance.

6. Security Measures and Content Protection

To protect all users and maintain service integrity, we employ comprehensive security measures:

Automated Content Screening

• All uploaded content is automatically scanned for malicious patterns
• AI-assisted verification for critical threats
• Content hash blocklist prevents re-uploading of confirmed malicious content
• Real-time detection of phishing, malware, and scam attempts

Progressive Enforcement System

We implement a progressive enforcement approach to protect users. Violations may result in:

First violation: Content removed, warning issued
Subsequent violations: Content removed, increased monitoring
Repeated violations: Temporary or permanent restriction from uploading

Violations are tracked per IP address and device identifier to prevent circumvention. Severity and history determine enforcement actions.

7. Rate Limits and Fair Use

To ensure fair access for all users, we implement rate limiting:

Individual users are limited to reasonable usage patterns
Automated or bot traffic is prohibited
We reserve the right to temporarily or permanently restrict access for abuse

8. Privacy and Data Protection

We do not require user accounts or personal information
Content is automatically deleted based on TTL settings

Shared content is not indexed by search engines

8. TTL Extensions and Payment Policy

Users can extend the lifetime of their shared content by purchasing TTL Extensions through our payment processor (Stripe). Available extension periods:

30 days: $2.99
90 days: $7.99
180 days: $13.99
365 days: $24.99

No Refund Policy

All TTL Extension purchases are final and non-refundable. By purchasing an extension, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Extensions are applied immediately and cannot be reversed or refunded for any reason
• No refunds will be issued if content is removed for Terms violations
• No refunds will be issued if you delete your content or it expires naturally
• No refunds will be issued for service interruptions, technical issues, or downtime
• No refunds will be issued if you change your mind after purchase completion

Please carefully review your content and ensure it complies with our Terms of Service before purchasing an extension.

Important: Content that violates our Terms of Service may be removed at any time without refund, even if you have purchased an extension. Ensure your content complies with all policies before extending.

9. Disclaimers and Limitations

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
Uninterrupted or error-free operation
Security of uploaded content
Availability for the full TTL period
Compatibility with all devices or browsers

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PageDrop, pagedrop.io, and our affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your uploaded content, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice, for:

Violation of these Terms of Service
Uploading prohibited content
Abuse of the Service or other users
Technical or security reasons

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and any uploaded content may be deleted.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last modified" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where pagedrop.io is located, without regard to conflict of law principles.
